What is my view on the subject critical literacy?
My friends and i are almost completed this semester, and there's a lot of things that we have gone through throughout this semester includes struggling with this subject.
As in the first entry i have stated that this subject is just hard where its requires a lot of thinking skills and reading skills, and now my view about this subject is still the same , it is hard yet interesting to learn about. Why i said it is interesting? It is because during the learning, we read a lot and have a deep thinking to generate the message of the given text. Even sometimes, it makes me stress, but i find it as a way to enhance my thinking skills as i think a lot and try to come out with the relevant answers for the text.
As i have gone through with this subject in this semester. i know how it feels when dealing with the assignments at the last minute. Don't do that. Procrastination only makes everything difficult, because at the end of semester you will have a lot of other assignments of other subjects to deal with. When getting the instructions to complete the assignment of critical literacy subject, do it first as it will need a lot of other sources to support the premises and others, and it is not an easy task to do because you will need to do a lot of research, as long as you smart to manage your time and study smart, the things will go easier for you.
In conclusion, even the subject is quite killing, yet it is a must for student to learn it as it improves our thinking skills and encourage us to read and think a lot.
My suggestion for this subject is, a book with effective study guide is needed or video tutorial because some students might understand well of this subject's concept if more information given either through writing or visual.
A special gratitude to Miss Anis, as a lecturer of this subject, she has done a great job for teaching us and made us understand well regarding this subject. A lot of thanks also to friends who always helping in needed, during the discussion and remind me to complete the assignments of critical literacy,
Thank you very much. :)
